"RASCAINFIERNOS": sample of projects from the workshop on minimum interiors
- Exhibition from 14 January to 24 February
- EINA Hall (Passeig Santa Eulàlia, 25, Barcelona)
"RASCAINFIERNOS" brings together the models of the workshop on minimum interiors made by the students of the 3rd course of the Degree in Design of the subject User and Interaction, of the mention of Design of Spaces, tutored by Albert Crispi.
This workshop seeks to practice unusual solutions to solve an interior distribution of non-standard proportions and conditions, thus pushing to seek strategies beyond the usual solution in plant and working especially the section and interior heights.
The workshop consists of the construction of a 1/20 scale model of a volume 6m wide, 6m deep and 15m high that is completely buried, leaving the upper part of the volume as the only entrance for natural light.
Within this volume, the distribution of a living-dining room, kitchen, a bedroom, a studio and a bathroom has been made. The pieces have been distributed based on platforms, accompanied by staircases, which are placed inside the volume in such a way that the entire interior can be covered, linking up its spaces. Access to the volume is made from the top.
