Talk by Takk, with Mireia Luzárraga and Alejandro Muiño

Mireia Luzárraga and Alejandro Muiño from Takk are the guests at the fourth conference in the "Projecting Spaces 2019-2020” cycle, organised by the Design of Spaces mention on the Bachelor’s Degree in Design.
Takk is a space for architectural production focused on the development of practical materials in the intersection between nature, culture, technology and politics, with special attention to the challenges posed by the Anthropocene era.
Run by Mireia Luzárraga and Alejandro Muiño, in Barcelona and Madrid, Takk combines its professional activities with research and academic work. Its work has appeared in international forums, including the GSAPP-Columbia University in New York, the Thailand Design Center in Bangkok and the Floating University in Berlin. It has also appeared at the 2019 Rabat Biennale, the 2019 and 2017 Orleans Biennale, the 2016 Oslo Triennale Academy section, and the Spanish pavilion at the 2014 Venice Biennale. Its work is in the permanent collection of the FRAC Centre-Val de Loire and the Centro de Arte 2 de Mayo, and as well as group exhibitions at the Centro de Creación Contemporánea Matadero Madrid, Alcova Milan and the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB), it recently opened its first solo exhibition at the Magazin gallery in Vienna.
